Dreamfall Chapters: Book One contains the prologue and the first two chapters of the game. Even with these flaws, Dreamfall Chapters is a fantastic game that maturely explores individual and societal issues through deft writing and interesting quest design, making players feel as if the fate of two worlds is truly in their hands. Zoe in particular is written with a depth and humor that makes her both sympathetic and utterly convincing. It also has excellent voice acting that brings the right level of emotion and vitality to some exceptional writing. Stark is a beautiful, totally convincing near-future city that any modern urban dweller can easily see living in, while Arcadia is an enticing locale in a rustic Renaissance fair kind of way. Apart from the compelling questions, the game seals the deal with its visuals. Players are forced to face the past demons of characters and make profound decisions about how they should move forward in life. What makes Chapters so fascinating is the way it uses player choice to shape the story. It picks up right where Dreamfall left off and goes on to weave a complex narrative that's as intriguing and emotionally gripping as any best-selling novel. Major decisions that will affect achievements will also be highlighted.Dreamfall Chapters sets out to wrap up the saga started in The Longest Journey and its sequel, Dreamfall. Missable achievements will be highlighted clearly for the reader. I managed to speed through the second playthrough in around 5 hours by skipping everything possible and focusing only on mopping up missing achievements. Playthrough 1 should take roughly 15-20 hours. If you haven't played the previous two games, a lot of the game's plot may be confusing. I highly recommend you take time on playthrough 1 to listen to all dialogue and watch the cutscenes.

I strongly recommend you stay connected to Xbox Live as there have been a few reports of achievements earned offline not registering when the internet connection was re-established. The second playthrough only requires you to reach the end of Book 4, allowing us to skip Book 5 altogether. 16 Achievements are missable, 24 are story related and obtainable in playthrough 1, the remaining 5 achievements are also story related but require a second playthrough.
